This Laguiole en Aubrac 12 cm pocket knife has a corkscrew. Not only do you benefit from the functionalities of this stunning Laguiole pocket knife, but you're also able to open a bottle of wine. Furthermore the third feature is an awl – piercer at the back of the grip which opens from below. The spine of the handle is decorated with stunning filework. The blade is made from stainless Sandvik 12C27 steel. Both the bolsters and the blade are polished. This makes the knife look extra chic.
You open this Laguiole knife with two hands. When opened, a slip joint holds the blade in place. This is not a true lock, merely some resistance to keep the knife from closing. When closing the knife, it is important that you carefully lower the blade into the handle. If don't do this carefully, the blade will hit the inside of the handle, which could affect the sharpness of the blade.
